Motivation is by far and always the best catalyst, turning disinterested and disillusioned learners into enthusiastic, knowledge-hungry achievers, surprising not only their parents and their teachers with what they can achieve - but also themselves!
 JPE is a family owned, not for profit, tuition organisation with an unrivalled reputation for achieving results through a unique approach to learning. We are a small organisation, which makes us both highly versatile and affordable. JPE’s tutors have been carefully vetted and selected to make sure they have the talent to help our learners achieve the very best that they can, without the stress so often associated with studying! We train our tutors in the protection of vulnerable learners. Joanna Pinewood Education is Ofsted registered (VC364213) and received the highest commendation available.
Established in 2000, our team of talented tutors are available 7 days a week (9am to 9pm) offering you the greatest flexibility and choice. We cover most of the major subjects, helping young and adult learners prepare for their under-graduate courses, A levels, Diplomas, GSCEs, NVQs and Common Entrance exams. We also provide tuition for 11+ and Key Stage 1, 2 and 3. We welcome students from of all ages with our current age range from 4 to 61 years old.
JPE is on a mission to help everyone. Our specially trained tutors can teach not only young children with spelling and reading difficulties but their parents who can learn new ways to deal with dyslexia and executive function disorders (deficits in ability to plan, initiate, sequence, sustain, and pace work).
JPE’s services are open to everyone. For adults who wish to change career direction or to merely brush up on old skills, we can help you achieve the goals you always wished you could achieve! As part of the EU’s Lifelong Learning initiative, JPE tutors is an official sponsor of adult learning and is qualified to assist adults in all areas of training including police force, nursing and mature academic qualifications. Adults with learning difficulties are also welcome as we can help you get over the classroom difficulties from your childhood and improve your skill set. Likewise, for those in more practical professions such as mechanics and builders, who cannot face the ever-growing administrative requirements of their job, we can help hone your report and letter-writing skills to grammatical perfection!
A huge part of JPE is our encouragement to those whose native language is not English. We provide elocution workshops to aid those who may know the language but who lack confidence and precision in their pronunciation. Likewise, we can also help you to support your children with the English education system including key stages 1, 2 and 3, so that they too can become confident in the language, the culture and the curriculum. All our learners receive JPE certificates of achievement alongside enrolment within the “Europass” scheme.
